The Abraham’s Story

Abraham’s Spices started, as many small businesses do, in a humble backyard. Father and husband, Dennis, used the process of smoking spices as an opportunity to bond with his (then) 5-year-old son, Abraham—teaching him to safely chop wood, build and light a fire, and to trim and strip the spices. Once the products went from simple ideas to something delicious, they began putting them on everything. And, as is natural with the things we most enjoy, they began sharing their seasonings with friends and family. And where there's smoke, there's fire... and that fire grew. The friends and family began sharing their spices further, until Dennis was running into people in the community who had heard of, and received, their products from others. The feedback was so overwhelmingly positive that it couldn't just remain a hobby. These flavors needed to be made available to everyone.

In June of 2022, Dennis broke ground on building a small facility (pictured below) in which to manufacture and package their products. By the sweat of his brow, and the help of a few friends and family, the dream has become a reality, and can be shared far and wide with everyone who loves flavor and supporting homegrown business.

Our flagship product, Smoked Rosemary Salt, is made with a beautiful flaked salt, fresh, homegrown rosemary and the perfect blend of locally-sourced wood for smoking, giving it an exquisite flavor unique to the Pacific Northwest.
